We would like to invite you to Gala Evening of the Season on Saturday night!
Join us for an unforgettable Gala Evening full of great food, music, and company! Meet fellow competitors and friends from all over Europe – this is your chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the atmosphere together.
After the end of the qualification runs we prepared an unforgettable gala evening for all participants. The event is held in the premises of Kamir Farm, which provided us with amazing conditions for organizing such an event. A buffet will be available throughout the event, where catering company Lucullus will provide a gastronomic experience in the form of fire-grilled pork legs, chicken steaks, grilled cheeses and sweet treats. Everyone can choose what they want.
The band Anyone, which has both Czech and foreign songs in its repertoire, will be playing for dancing and listening throughout the whole evening.
The band was first formed as a duo - vocals, keyboards and guitar, after Míša Shejbalová met guitarist and singer Jirka Řezníček in 2015. At that point, Míša had already performed at several hundred concerts, balls, weddings, parties and other events.
Later on, an experienced guitarist, singer and sound technician - Tomáš Nykl - joined the party in order to organize as many dates as possible. Currently, instead of Jirka, the duo also can include a winsome guitarist and singer Michal Klínský. If you invite the band as a duo, Míša will always come to the event (vocals, keyboards and moderation) and one of the guys will do the sound, guitar and male vocals.
Since the band has received many requests for balls, parties and larger events, they have decided to expand this smaller group to five members. Band was happy to welcome vocalist and keyboardist Joey Janecek, drummer Karl Saidl and bassist Tomas Felger to the group. The result is a modern and dynamic live band that can provide live music for any event.
During the band breaks there will be an accompanying program, when the “Furiant Folk Song and Dance Ensemble” will show us their art.
During the next band break, we're holding a raffle.
About the raffle:
A raffle (“tombola”) is a popular party game that is often held at various parties or festivals. The principle of a raffle is that participants purchase raffle tickets or tickets for a symbolic financial contribution. Winning numbers are then drawn and the winners receive prizes prepared in advance - these can range from small items and gifts to more valuable prizes, depending on the nature of the event.
A raffle is a very fun entertainment where you can win interesting prizes. Tombola is popular because it offers the chance to win a variety of gifts while contributing to a meaningful cause.
The Furiant Folk Song and Dance Ensemble is an artistic association dedicated to the preservation and presentation of Czech and Moravian folk traditions. Its main goal is to interpret folk songs, dances and costumes of various regions of the Czech Republic in order to capture the original form and atmosphere of folk art as faithfully as possible.
The Furiant ensemble organizes public performances, concerts and festivals, where it presents the richness of folk culture to the general public. In addition to live performances, it also teaches traditional musical instruments, singing and dancing, and often cooperates with folklore schools and other cultural institutions. Thanks to its activities, it contributes to the preservation of cultural identity and promotes the interest of younger generations in folk traditions.
The ensemble prides itself on its high artistic level, authenticity and respect for historical sources, which makes it an important actor in the field of Czech folklore. Its repertoire includes not only traditional songs and dances but also some lesser-known and regional folk motifs, thus contributing to the diversity and revival of folklore heritage.
